A Little About Myself....

Hi, I’m Alana Smiley, and I started my business with the intention to help horses feel their best. My interest in equine massage began after I moved from Colorado to South Carolina. Moving to Camden with my quarter horse, Apollo, has helped me to discover many equine-related professions that I didn't even know existed. After becoming a certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist at Animal Rehab Institute in Loxahatchee, Florida (December 2023),  I wanted to quickly get my business up and going. Under the guidance of ARI founder, Arlene White, I learned the latest techniques and best practices for equine bodywork, and I look forward to continuing my education and expanding my skillset in the years ahead. Whether you’re looking to alleviate pain, reduce stress, improve mobility, or simply ensure your horse’s overall well-being, our personalized attention and customized massage can help you reach your goals.

Natural Treatment

Our massage techniques for horses are based on their muscles' functions and combine stress point therapy, myofascial release, and other effective methods to help them release tension. By working with the horse instead of against them, we can help them resolve any discomfort they may be experiencing.

**Massage is NOT a replacement for veterinary medicine. If your horse is lame or sick, call your vet.

Referral Discounts

To continue and expand my business, I offer a referral discount of 25% off any service to anyone who refers new clients our way. Spread the word and save on your next service!

Veterinary Communication

Providing a detailed history of your horse's health and any past injuries is very helpful. Our massage services can sometimes reveal deeper underlying issues, and we are more than comfortable working with your vet to address these problems. We are happy to discuss treatment plans with veterinarians and ensure that your equine friend is getting all the help they need.

Risk Free

Equine massage therapy can only help your horse; whether it be immediate relief after minor knotted tension is unwound or being able to find the bigger source of the pain and allow for veterinary intervention.
